Cadey-Lee was five-months-old when she died tragically after being attacked by two Rottweiler guard
dogs in Leicester.
Police say the dogs, which attacked her in the living quarters of The Rocket pub in Stephenson
Drive, New Parks, have been put down.
Her parents had been looking after the pub and the animals while the landlord was on holiday.
Cadey-Lee was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary where she later died from her injuries.
Cadey-Lee will be sadly missed by her mother, Amy Deacon, and her father Ryan Brightwell. Words
cannot express our devastation at what has happened. We just cannot believe that Cadey-Lee is gone.
She was such a beautiful little girl. We loved her so much and we just can't accept that
something like this could have happened. How do you come to terms with such a tragedy?
Our hearts go out to the parents of that poor baby. Everybody is so shocked at what has happened.
Everybody is talking about it. Nobody can believe it.
People have been incredible - our family and friends and the many people who have left flowers and
toys outside the Rocket. It has been overwhelming.
We would just like to say a heartfelt thank you to all those people. Your love and support is a
comfort to us during this terrible time.
